Doctor Who Tag - Lollie

Hello Internet People, welcome back!

Don't even role your eyes at this title, you knew this was coming eventually.

So I found these questions on Tumblr before we start the tag and I thought I'd give my opinions on them.

1. Where’s Donna’s dad?

One theory is that Donna's dad I think left her and her mum when she was young so because of this, Donna has never really bothered with men. Her granddad - Wilf - is the main father figure in her life. When she was due to marry Lance, she was so very excited for it because she had finally found a man who wasn't like her dad and was more like her granddad. Obviously we all know how that ended. When she decides she wants to travel with The Doctor, that's all she wants to do, she doesn't fancy him or love him... she just wants a friend and that's something that I think not only relieves the doctor but also Donna. Donna finds the doctor to be more of an escape from her reality rather than a love interest as he offers her something more.

Another one I have still revolves around Donna's dad leaving when she was small, however, Donna completely idolised him as a father and when he left, she somehow blamed her mum. this would explain all the negative feelings and actions she has towards her mum sometimes. She also, when her dad left, sought a replacement father figure in Wilf.

2. How are multiple doctors allowed to exist at once (for example, the eleventh doctor and the tenth)?

You'd have to ask The Moff about this one...

3. Is Rory the father of River?

Yes. How can someone begin to even question that! Yes I know River can regenerate etc etc, but that's NOT because she is the daughter of The Doctor (also River married The Doctor in the end and you can't have The Doctor's daughter marrying The Doctor... well... let's not even go there okay 0 wibbily wobbly, timey wimey.. stuff). River can regenerate because she was conceived in the TARDIS surrounded by time energy and vortex stuff (I'm almost technical sounding as the show haha!)

4. How come The Doctor seems surprised when the Daleks find him even though he parks the TARDIS in the middle of the street?

He's surprised because, the state the street is in and all the rubble and the wreckage would suggest that the Daleks had already stormed that street, he thought he was safe.

5. Is The Doctor part human since he has a belly button?

No. That's just how time lords look..

6. Who is that one girl with the son that’s like 14? And why do they have a robot dog?

Wow... wow, wow, wow. Let me just sit down for a  moment. SARAH JANE SMITH!!! oh my gosh, that is Sarah Jane Smith. Her son is 14-year-old, genetically modified genius and her robot dog, was originally The Doctor's. His name is K9.

7. Why does the tenth doctor carry around a stethoscope?

Because Stethoscopes are cool, they come in handy, he's a 'doctor' of sorts and we all know Ten has the thing of carrying things he may not intend to use (The brainy specs)

8. If a human-timelord hybrid (the doctorDonna) can’t exist, how come the clone of the tenth doctor (the one from his hand) can?

A human-timelord hybrid such as the DoctorDonna, can't exisit due to the fact that Donna's body was human. All the timelord knowledge was too big for her brain to cope with as humans brains have a smaller capacity then Timelords. The clone of Ten, aka The Meta-crisis Doctor, can exist because this meta-crisis, grew from the part of a Timelord, therefore, he has a Timelord brain capacity.

9. As a follow-up, does that clone regenerate too? Would the doctorDonna also?

The clone does not regenerate as when it grew from Ten's severed hand, he only grew back with one heart. This is because that is the template that was given when the Meta-crisis was formed as DoctorDonna only had one heart. This means that DoctorDonna cant regenerate either as she only has one heart. It is part of a Timelord's genetics to be able to regenerate but to do this they must have a bi-binary heart system (is that the right phrase?)

Now time for the quizzy bit

When did you start watching Doctor Who?

I started watching Doctor Who in 2005 when the reboot came out. I was 6, nearly 7 and my next-door neighbour came round one day and we were sat watching TV in my room, flicking channels when Doctor Who came up. She told me to click it and there must have been about three or four episodes back to back on. The first one was 'Dalek' and after I watched that, I didn't want to stop.

Who is your favourite Doctor?

Ten. Even though Nine is MY Doctor, so to speak, Ten will always be my favourite and his era was absolutely brilliant.

Favourite companion?

I think it has to be Rose as she was the first companion I ever watched and I grew sort of attached to her. I grew so attached to her in fact that when 'Doomsday' was aired, I was having a BBQ and I stayed inside on my own to watch the episode and then proceeded to cry as she got sucked into the void and then transported to the parallel universe.

Favourite episode?

'Girl in The Fireplace' is one of them. I'm not sure what it is about this episode that drew me in and it's still a favourite of mine till this day. Also 'Utopia', 'Sound of Drums' and 'Last of The Time Lords' because these episodes as so well written and are brilliant!

Least favourite episode?

'The Unquiet Dead'. I think, I never actually saw this episode when it aired so that made me not like it. I can't actually sit through the episode. It doesn't scare me or anything, I'm not too sure what it is about it...

Least favourite companion?

Here is where most would write Martha but I loved Martha. I don't really have a least favourite companion. A lot of the companion have things about them that annoy me a little bit and I do feel as though (even though I love Jenna Coleman and the character of Clara) that Clara has outstayed her welcome with The Doctor.

If you were a companion, what kind of companion would you be?

I'd like to think I'd be a good one. I'm not great at running so, I'd complain about that like Donna. I'd love The Doctor like Amy did, like a best friend. I'd be brave and independent like Martha, Intelligent and quick like Clara and adventurous like Rose.

Greatest Doctor Who creature?

Oh... has to be the Daleks.

least favourite Doctor Who creature?

My least favourite has got to be the Empty Child. Not because It's terrible just because that episode freaked me out so much!

Who is your favourite non-companion character?

Adam Mitchell

Who is your favourite villain?

The Master. Definitely The Master. Without a doubt.

What would you do first if you could travel with The Doctor?

Victorian era, ancient Egypt, ancient Rome, ancient Greece

What do you think would be behind your door at the hotel in The God Complex?

Well, I'm scared of feet... so.. feet? wait, was it your biggest fear behind the door or biggest belief? I haven't watched it in a while :/

What would be your reaction to meeting The Doctor?

'It's you... you're the actual Doctor.. The Doctor. Where's the TARDIS? Where are we off to first then?'

If you meet The Doctor, who would you tell first?

Valentines Day Thoughts - Saturdays with Payton

Hey!

It's Payton here, ready to share some love with you on Valentines Day! I was having a deep thinking moment about Valentines Day before writing this post and I would like to share my thoughts with you, if that's okay.

Valentines Day is usually "advertised" for none of a better word for couples, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wifes etc, and describe it as spending the day with someone that you care and love about. So I thought why is it advertised as being for people in relationships but not for everyone. I mean obviously yes you would want to share the day with your boyfriend, girlfriend etc but wouldn't you also want to spend the day with your mum, dad, sister, brother, friends and other family members and people who you care about who you also have a relationship with, plus the day is described as being with someone who you love and care about.

Sorry rant over, now on with the rest of the post!

So I am going to keep in the theme of Valentines Day and I will be doing a Valentines Day tag for you all, so let's get started!

1. What is your favorite Valentines Day treat? 

Oooo, something tasty to eat like chocolate! 

2. Sweethearts or chocolate covered strawberries?

Definitely chocolate covered strawberries ftw!

3. What was your favorite Valentines day memory?

I don't have a special memory, it's really just a normal day for me spending it with my family, as sadly I do not have a boyfriend to spend it with, but that's okay at least I'm spending it with people I love!

4. What movie would you rather watch on Valentine's Day: Pretty Woman or You've Got Mail?

I actually haven't seen either Pretty Woman or You've Got Mail........Lemme google something quickly....... okay so from their plot lines I would rather watch You've Got Mail.

5. What celeb would you not mind having as your Valentine?

Ooooo, this question is a tough one, I would not mind having quite a few different celebrities as my valentine although I think that I have now made up my mind.

I would definitely not mind having Chris Hemsworth as my Valentine or Taylor Glockner or Harley Bonner.

 

6. What would you do on your perfect Valentine's date?

I haven't really thought of this to be honest with you, I think that it depends, on one hand I would love to go for a meal and to the cinema, but I think that everyone does that, but really I would love to do something that we would both enjoy together.

7. Red or pink lips on Valentines Day?

I do love red lips but I do not think that I can pull it off, but I am trying different combinations and colors but until I find the right one I will have to say pink lips.

8. What is your ideal Valentine's Day date outfit?

This would depend on what we are doing that day, I would definitely try and wear something cute no matter what, if it was a meal out then I would rock the dress and heels but if it was something else then I may wear something more casual, but I am usually indecisive with what I wear so it would be something I pull together last minute!

9. Homemade or store-bought gifts?

I love both, but I do think that homemade gifts are cute and more personal and memorable.

10. Would you wear your hair up or hair down for a date night? 

I would wear my hair down and it would probably be curled. I just hate wearing my hair up unless it is perfect.

So today I thought I'd do a question tag that I found on Tumblr.

If you don't want to get to know me don't read it because it is exactly what the titles states. Also, sorry, it's a long one guys, so grab some popcorn...

How do you feel about birthdays?        

They are okay... I guess. I love celebrating my birthday because it's in the summer but... everyone tends to be on holiday when I want to have a get-together for it

Do you believe in fate?

YES YES YES YES YES YES.. I hate believing in it because sometimes fate has a habit of giving you things you don't want but yeah I do believe in it

What do you think of fans and fandoms?

I'm in way too many fandoms. Fans can be great but, fans can get too intense sometimes, like, come on, the artist is a person and a human too.

What do you think of doctor-assisted suicide?

I'm sorry what...

Have you ever blown your top? Why?

Yes. Some guy threatened to beat up my brother so I lost it and started shouting at him in the street. Ash and Payton were with me at the time and said they'd never seen me so angry

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

I would be about 23.

Tell them that they are being out of order and that if they don't stop talking about that I'll leave.

You discover that because of a mix-up at the hospital, your wonderful one-year-old child is not yours. Would you want to exchange the child to try to correct the mistake?

No because - psychology things here - the bond has already been formed between me and the baby (So all the psychological theories say) so Therefore, it's technically my baby and I've grown attached to it.

Slapped Bri around the face without meaning too - well she got too close and I was angry...

If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?

In life, sometimes we have to do things we don't like and most of the time, it turns out that that happens very often. Our time is taken up by so many things we don't like we never have time to do the stuff that we do like.

How important is music in your life?

Very important. Music helps me relax, concentrate, have fun, be sad, be happy, dance and more. I'm not too sure where I would be without music

How would you describe your father in four words?

Kind hearted, immature + Loving

If you were to change one thing about your physical appearance, what would it be?

Now I'm going to be a hypocrite here and say my freckles. This is because have you ever tried to wear foundation with freckles! It's like having to apply white paint to a rainbow coloured wall...

What is your ideal day?

Doctor Who marathon or writing all day or being with the Seven Sweethearts all day or playing Sims 4 all day... something like that

If you were a book, what would it be?

If I had to be an existing book, I's be the book 'Fangirl' by Rainbow Rowell, I think the reason why is perfectly self-explanatory

Which is worse, failing or never trying?

Never Trying because if you never try, you technically fail it.

Who are the people who have influenced you?

I look up to my Auntie a lot as she's a really, kind-hearted, genuinely lovely person with a great sense of humour. I also am influenced by my friends - they make me work hard and they help me to make the right decisions when the choice isn't always clear to me

Which of the four cardinal virtues do you embody the most?

What on Gallifrey are the four cardinal virtues? *googles* ahhh um I'd like to think that I embody Justice because I try and do what's right and fair by everyone.

What are some things you like about your siblings?

My sister watches things with me even if she doesn't like them, she'll tidy my room because she likes tiding. my youngest brother is just very cute and cheeky and you can't not love him and my oldest brother I can have a laugh with.

Do you daydream a lot? What do you daydream about?

I daydream about literally anything.

How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?

To certain people I am brutally honest, to others... not so much

Do you look like any celebrities?

I like to think I look like Jenna Coleman but I know that I 100% do not

My gender is great. I get things that guys don't have and I think I suit being a girl. I do act like a girl a lot but I'm not your stereotypical girly-girl

What things have made you cry in the past?

The muppet movie, people dying - CRYSTALS, BLOODY CRYSTALS! We went to the Natural History Muesum and I had run out of words for how beautiful the crystals were so I just started crying... True stroy, Maya was there.

Twitter, iPhone games, read, text, sing, play keyboard, draw, watch TV...

No Voodoo dolls here... against my (almost) religion - sorry. We don't use voodoo or black magick.

Everything about Wicca that I can because it's very interesting and I think I would like it to be my religion

GCSEs and the amount of famous people I've met - Pretty sad huh?

No way. I cannot deal with nightmares at all. I'm awful with them and get them even now so no thank you - I'll stick to the money I've got

I believe that we all have both in us and that we can't snuff one out and be one or the other, we must learn to be a balance of the two

My Uncles upset me and I think at the time I may have suffered from post traumatic stress but i didn't know it. I was really close to him so it affected me massively

Buy wigs and Cosplay and pastel goth things and pay my auntie and mum back all the money I've ever borrowed

21 Funny Questions Tag with Saturday's Payton

Hey!

It's Saturday again which means that it is a post from me, your Miss Saturday here on the Seven Sweethearts blog....... it's Payton!

This week I thought that it would be fun to do a tag and as you only read posts from me once a week I decided that it would be good for you to get to know me better so I am going to do a 21 random questions tag where my answers will probably be very random, so let's get started!

1. Are you named after anyone? I don't think that I am named after anyone, although I like to think I am named after someone really amazing!

2. When was the last time you cried? The last time I cried was when I was watching a re-run of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team,I know that's sad but it's true as my favorite person go cut.

3. Do you have kids? No, I think that I am a bit too young to have kids and besides that I need a boyfriend to have kids with!

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? I think that I would like to be a friend of myself, although I think that I would have to see myself in small doses as I sometimes can barely stand myself at the best of times!

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Uhhh.....yeah totally! I asked Ash this question when I saw this tag and she said yes so I am going with that answer!

6. Will you ever bungee-jump? I don't know, I would probably be too scared to do that although I would like to Sky-Dive if I had the chance!

7. What’s your favorite cereal? I don't usually eat cereal, although at the moment I am in love with Rice Crispies and Honey Cheerios!

8. What’s the first thing you notice about people? I notice what they are wearing and their hair and their eyes, well I think that's what I do!

9. What is your eye color? I have always said my eye color is blue so I am going with that although my eyes can somethings be a blue-green color which is really pretty.

10. Scary movie or happy endings? I am always scared at something as I always get scared really easy, I am trying to watch more scary movies though to stop me being scared of anything so the most recent scary movie I have watched was Lesbian Vampire Killers (which stars James Corden) and that film is a horror-comedy so I hope that counts! From this I will say that I prefer happy endings because I mean who doesn't want a happy ending?

11. Favorite smells? Anything that smells nice maybe? I know a lot of people say this and I know it's weird but I love the smell when you are at a petrol station, I don't know why? But I do love flowers and perfumes and that which smell nice!

12. Summer or winter? How can I choose between two awesome seasons! Both Summer and Winter are amazing times of year as Summer you can go on holiday and it is warm but in Winter you have Christmas and my Birthday, so I don't know the answer to that one, sorry!

13. Computer or television? Computer all the way! C'mon with a computer you can do so many things INCLUDING WATCHING TV which makes you have both things!

14. What’s the furthest you've ever been from home? The furthest I've been from home is Cyprus, that is about 2,000 miles however I will be travelling further than that when I go to New York with Belle in October (New York is about 3,400 miles away from England)

15. Do you have any special talents? I don't think I have any special talents that are good really although I can still get my foot up to my head so I am sort of flexible!

16. Where were you born? I was born in a hospital........in England.

17. What are your hobbies? Well I don't really have any proper hobbies, if you call watching TV and YouTube a hobby then I do have a hobby, although doing this blog with the other girls is a hobby!

18. Do you have any pets? Yes, I have a billion and one pets. Seriously though I have 6 cats! Oh and there's a few fish in this fish tank we own in our house. 

19. Favorite movie? Why do you have to make me pick a favorite movie? Like this answer changes on a daily basis, actually like three movies have just popped into my head so here they are: Pitch Perfect, Hunger Games, and this one isn't quite a movie but its a movie length and its The Sound Of Music Live! (the one starring Carrie Underwood)

20. Do you have any siblings? Nope. Only child swagg! 

21. What do you want to be when you grow up? A Princess, well that's most little girls' dream, I actually want to work with children and I don't know in what way whether it be a teacher but I love Psychology so something to do with Children and Psychology.
